This is the new Rob Roy Boat Club website.
Rob Roy is a club in Cambridge, UK, which has traditionally focussed on training in small boats. Founded in 1880, it is one of the older boat clubs on the River Cam. We have members competing in all levels of competition from complete novice to international level in both junior and senior sculling.
For information about the club please go here.
Usernames and passwords for the old Robs members site will work fine here, so log in and have a look around.

 old Robs result needed

Am not a robs member but..
Am looking to find out the details of the head of the river crew for town bumps 86 and 87... Rob Roy Crews. My husband was in the crews but never had his blade done. I'm going to get it made up as a surprise for him but need to find the relevant info .. as in crew list etc.
Can anyone help me find this ?
Ps I'm not really random I do cox robs boats sometimes."

Head of the Cam 2007

On the 5th May, Rob Roy fielded several boats in the Head of the Cam, the most notable being the women's first eight who won WS3 and were the quickest women's crew by 33s. The women next race in Ghent.

Wallingford Regatta 2007

The Senior Men went to Wallingford Regatta yesterday.
Nick Morrell was unfortunate to finish 4th in his heat of S2 1x in a time that would have won the other heat.
In the final of the Senior Two pairs the 'established' pairing of James Stott and Paul Wilkins were soundly beaten by the 'scratch' pair of Josep Sumoy and Colin Leonard.
The two pairs then combined into a coxless four and qualified for the final with the fastest time of the 18 Senior 2 crews. However, this was not quite repeated and they finished third in the final behind Marlow and Gloucester.
Our Senior 1 pair of Nick Shepherd and Andy Watson came up against some strong opposition and finished 5th in their final.
